Numerous technologies ensure high user-friendliness: Thanks to the integrated laser beam targeting system with automatic illumination and direction-independent reading, as well as a special function for targeted reading in the center of the scan field, you can work precisely even with a wide scan range. Forklift drivers with mobile vehicle computers, such as those from Honeywell's Thor series, will particularly appreciate the versatile scanning functions of the 1981i, as pallets located at a great distance can now be scanned comfortably while seated, thus significantly increasing productivity. The integrated Bluetooth technology offers even more convenience, allowing complete freedom of movement within a radius of up to 100 meters.
Like all scanners in the Granit series, the 1981i is specially designed for use in extreme environmental conditions. The Granit housing, which has long since become standard, makes the 1981i incredibly robust: the scanner, which is classified as IP65, can withstand 50 drops onto concrete from a height of 2 m and 5,000 impacts (spinning test with 1 m drum), even in extreme cold of up to -30 °C. This pays off twice for companies: they benefit not only from minimal downtime, but also from pleasingly low total operating costs.
