HONEYWELL Datamax DMXNet II - Print server - 10Mb LAN, 802.11b/g

Description

Product information "HONEYWELL Datamax DMXNet II - Print server - 10Mb LAN, 802.11b/g"

DMXNet is a high-performance network interface card for the Datamax I-Class and W-Class printer families. The DMXNet card features a powerful 32-bit RISC NET+ARM processor and can be easily installed in seconds and configured remotely from the front console or via a standard web browser. This takes product maintenance to a new level with enhanced monitoring and control.
The DMXNet card supports basic IPX (Novell) and IP protocols over various Ethernet frame types. All protocols are supported simultaneously and can be activated at the same time. Multiple management connections, including available network service APIs, can be activated in parallel. NetWare can run in NDS (Network Directory Services - NetWare 4.x) and Novell Bindery (2.x, 3.x) or Bindery emulation mode. IPX/SPX is used to support printer status queries, making the NIC compatible with both the Novell Pconsole utility and Net Admin. The NIC includes an SNMP agent that operates over IPX. The
NIC also has an SNMP V1 agent and implements the RFC1213 groups of MIB II as well as a host resource MIB, printer MIB, and a DMX private enterprise MIB. The NIC MIB and Private MIB provide access to virtually the same NIC and printer setup parameters as the web pages. The NIC supports a basic trap destination IP address for general trap messages. Current traps include general printer errors, field of view (W-Class only), paper out, and empty ribbon.
