Digital e-ink price tags
Digital price tags based on e-ink technology are replacing traditional paper labels. Price and product information are controlled centrally and displayed dynamically on e-paper displays, which use electrophoretic ink in which coloured microparticles become visible depending on the electrical charge. This allows text or graphics to be displayed in monochrome or colour - energy-efficient and easy to read, even in changing light conditions.Centralised control and merchandise management connection
Electronic price tags can be controlled via centralised software. A connection to the merchandise management system is recommended for up-to-date price data. Each item is assigned a label via a defined interface and thus the appropriate shelf space. What are electronic price labels?

Shelves can be updated at the touch of a button - for example when prices change or the product range changes. With the ESL starter kit, users receive a preconfigured complete solution for digital price labelling - ideal for smaller sales areas. Price and item data is transferred directly from the merchandise management system to the software and transmitted wirelessly to the access points of the MultiCom infrastructure.The connected electronic price labels (ESL) react dynamically to changes and update content in real time. Thanks to 868 MHz radio technology, the solution has a range of up to 60 metres. Installation and commissioning are plug & play
