With the P-touch P700, you can quickly and easily label labels on your PC, even without installing drivers or software. With the pre-installed PT-Editor Lite software, all you need to do is connect the device to your PC via USB cable and turn it on. Similar to a USB stick, the label maker registers as a "drive" in Windows or Mac, and the application can be started directly.
The software recognizes the width, print color, and tape color of the inserted cassette and displays them on the screen.
The P-touch Editor software (full version) offers a range of functions that give you plenty of scope for designing your labels. For example, you can choose from many one- and two-dimensional barcode protocols or start batch printing from a linked database. The add-in function allows you to transfer text from Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook into the software. All TrueType fonts installed on your PC are supported.
Laminated TZe tape labels are extremely durable thanks to Brother's patented rear tape printing technology. They are abrasion-resistant and insensitive to heat, cold, a variety of chemicals, water, and light exposure.
